Filters What are filters, and how can I set them up?
By using Filters you can set rules to be applied to incoming messages. Filters can be used to automatically distribute messages to specific folders and/or prevent unwanted mail (spam).
When an incoming message is collected it is compared to any filters that you have created - stepping through the filters in order, beginning with filter number one. If a message meets the criteria of a filter, it will be moved to the folder specified in that filter.
After a message has been moved it will no longer be compared to any subsequent filters.
